We imagine a peaceful and just world in which communities have the resources to keep themselves and the land healthy and beautiful in perpetuity. We use pizza as the vehicle to challenge ourselves to design and build systems that we need to live in alignment with our values – including food, energy, medicine, movement, education, entertainment, and ecological services. We believe we can accomplish a lot with much less, using local materials and resources to develop safer, more functional, and resilient communities. To nurture this larger vision, we have slowly developed our simple system of making pizza, pizza ovens, and mobile pizzerias to illustrate solutions based on simple ideas and technologies that we create. Flutter By believes we can dream and implement lasting alternatives that lift up our humanity to be in a more loving relationship with ourselves and the Earth.
